Sunday School
Our Sunday school is the key we hope
to cater our young generation with our faith and knowledge of
the Lord, as well as the traditions of our church.
We have 4 grades in our Sunday school for 4 age groups:
pre-school/1st/2nd
grade school
junior high
high school
In the past, we used the books from the St.mary's Sunday School"
curriculum. The original intended
target of that curriculum were children in India
and was often hard to fit with our kids oversees.
In response to the need of a good curriculum, the
archdiocese has recently produced a new
sunday school lessons for use. Our church has
started using those lessons for the
classes. In the new lessons, there are 9 different
class levels. Of those, our school is using the
lessons meant for class levels 3, 4, and 8. The
young children(pre-school) are using , story
books.
We hopeing this curriculum will help our youth
to grow more firmly in their faith and understanding
of the Lord.
